CJC-1295 is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing analog, and it also acts as growth hormone secretagogue. Besides stimulating the production and growth hormone secretion, CJC-1295 also stimulates the production of insulin-like growth factor 1.   CJC-1295 was developed in such a way to increase its half-life, the duration of action but also to stimulate growth hormone without affecting its pulsatility.   GHRP-2 is also a growth hormone secretagogue, but one that specifically targets ghrelin (which is a growth hormone receptor). Besides this function, ghrelin is one of the essential hormones in meal initiation, so GHRP-2 has been getting a lot of attention in recent years since scientists are attempting to use it to control appetite.   Since both CJC-1295 and GHRP-2 are growth hormone releasing agents, they can be used together for a synergistic effect, which means, their combination will offer a greater effect that the sum of their individual effects.
